Job Description
Job Role:
The BDD Talent Development Hub is looking for a Training Coordinator to support in the implementation of an 8-month project. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of the grant’s activities and operations to achieve the intended objective. At the same time, he/she will support the team in coordinating all activities related to building a sustainable model beyond the 11-month implementation time frame of the grant.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the project adhere to frameworks, and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Ensure that the project activities are timely implemented, and address any emerging challenge in close coordination with the project manager
- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
- Participate in the ecosystem market studies and research needed
- Participate actively in the planning and execution of the project related workshops and events
- Select appropriate training methods or activities
- Participate in the selection of training providers related to the project, including providing technical inputs in a timely manner, and follow up with procurement officer to ensure quick and smooth selection process
- Follow up with selected training providers to ensure implementation of agreed project training activities
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
- Manage the communication with the project programs beneficiaries when needed on all community platforms, in close coordination with the relevant selected training providers
- Manage a system/database for maintaining all contacts, information and deadlines for all documents received
- Act as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, catering, bills and errands, all related to project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Education, or any related field
- Two plus years of experience in training coordination
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Familiarity with job training methods and techniques
- Previous roles in youth employment in the digital sector are a plus
- Fluent in English and Arabic, French is a plus

Duration:
- The duration of this project is a total of 8 months. Remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the Terms of Reference. Based on program’s needs, budget availability and consultant’s performance, the contract may be extended.
- The consultant will report to the Project Manager.
